21181. Tripura’s agricultural development to get booster of Israeli tech
- Israel will assist Tripura in the development of agriculture practices by using technology and other know how. Yair Eshel, agriculture officer at the Israeli embassy in Delhi, is on a three-day visit to the northeastern state to look into the matter.
- On his second day in the state, he visited the Horticulture and Fruit Research Center run by the Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, under the Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, in Nagichhara, Agartala
- Israel will provide technical assistance to further improve agriculture in the state of Tripura. Besides, some advanced methods of cultivating vegetables and other crops will also be taught,”

21182. Indian Railways exports Cape Gauge Diesel Locomotives to Mozambique
- The Cape Gauge Diesel Locomotives have been designed, manufactured, and financed by India for export in the spirits of Atamnirbhar Bharat.
- The 3000HP Locomotives are currently being operated multiple units to haul 3561 tonnes of coal from Coal mines to the port of Beira, hauling 43 wagons
- On February 11, the President of Mozambique, in the presence of the President of Zimbabwe, inaugurated the run of four Cape Diesel Locomotives at Beira in Mozambique.

21183. Assam: Sarbananda Sonowal launches a Panchakarma Technician Course at CARI, Guwahati
- The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal ceremonially launched a Panchakarma Skill Development Training Course at Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in Guwahati.
- At the same time, two academic research projects – one with CARI and College of Veterinary Sciences & another multi centric project by CARI, Guwahati; RARI, Itanagar; RARI, Dimapur; and RARC; Agartala – were also launched.
- The Panchakarma Technician Course is a one year full time course and is affiliated with Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) & the National Skill Development Council (NSDC).

21185. व्हाट्सऐप को टक्करः यूपी में स्वदेशी ‘संदेश’ के जरिए होगा सूचनाओं का आदान प्रदान, जारी हुआ निर्देश
- यूपी के सरकारी मुलाजिम के लिए अब नया स्वदेशी मैसेजिंग प्लेटफार्म आ गया है। राज्य सरकार ने अपने कर्मचारियों व अधिकारियों से कहा है कि वह अपने संदेशों को भेजने के लिए स्वदेशी ‘संदेश’ का उपयोग करें।
- इस सोशल मैसेजिंग प्लेटफार्म संदेश को राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र (एनआईसी) ने विकसित किया है। शासन ने अपने सभी विभागों के अपर मुख्य सचिवों से कहा है कि संदेश एक ओपन सोर्स आधारित सुरक्षित ऐप है।
- इसका विकास शासन में तेजी से संवाद की सुविधा के लिए किया गया है। यह एनड्रायड व आईओएस संस्करण के लिए पूरी तरह उपयुक्त है।
21186. नैनो यूरिया हरियाणा में लांच
- विश्व में पहली बार इफको द्वारा तरल खाद नैनो यूरिया का सोमवार को हरियाणा में आगाज हो गया।
- नई अनाज मंडी में इफको सेवा केंद्र में आयोजित समारोह में महाराणा प्रताप बागवानी विश्वविद्यालय के उप कुलपति डा. समर सिंह ने हरियाणा में नैनो यूरिया विक्रय का शुभारंभ किया। उन्होंने 200 किसानों को नैनो यूरिया का वितरण किया।
- हरियाणा में 26 हजार विक्रय केंद्र हैं, पहले सहकारी समितियों, कृषि सेवा केंद्रों आदि पर उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित की जा रही है। एक जुलाई से सभी विक्रय केंद्रों पर नैनो यूरिया उपलब्ध होगी।

21187. J&K's carpet export value to cross Rs 2,000 crore in 5 years: LG
- Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said new policies and the decisions taken by his administration will help carpet exports from the union territory to cross Rs 2,000 crore in five years.
- "We have launched the first-of-its-kind QR code-based mechanism for certification and labelling of handmade carpets of J&K.
- New policies and decisions of the government will also take J&K's carpet exports to Rs 1,000 crore in three years and it will cross Rs 2,000 crore in five years from now,' Sinha told reporters here.

21189. 109 projects in Jammu completed at cost of Rs. 455 crore: LG Sinha
- Laying the foundation stone for the Tawi Riverfront Development Project on Saturday, Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said planned urbanisation while respecting and restoring the delicate balance of nature can promote inclusive development more efficiently and effectively.
- The Lt Governor said that 109 projects that have been pending for years have been completed in the Jammu division at a cost of Rs.455 crore, including 14 new bridges which have made connectivity easier. Infrastructural projects like the Metro, the Delhi-Katra-Amritsar Expressway, the four-lane green field Jammu Ring Road, flyovers, industrial estates, strengthening of the power sector and many others would bring prosperity for all.
- Observing that historically civilisations have prospered on the banks of rivers, Sinha said that the “Sustenance and rejuvenation of the Tawi riverfront will create not only an economic engine for the holy city, but also generate employment opportunities for local communities."
21190. 1st 'Made-In-India' Aircraft Carrier To Be Commissioned Next Year: Rajnath Singh
- The Carrier also known as the Indigenous Aircraft Carrier 1 or IAC-1 will be christened INS Vikrant on commissioning. The aircraft is built at a cost of over Rs 24,000-crore.
- The basic design of the indigenous aircraft carrier was done by the Indian Navy's Directorate of Naval Design, which was developed into a detailed design by the design team of CSL.
- The ship has a length of over 260 metres and breadth of 60 metres. It has two take-off runways and a landing strip with three arrester wires, capable of operating STOBAR aircraft including the indigenous LCA, as well as a range of helicopters with hangar facilities.
